Came to me in the car driving home that this campaign should be titled “Brave New Heroes.”
O wonder!
How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,
That has such people in’t.
How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,
That has such people in’t.
—William Shakespeare, The Tempest, Act V, Scene I, ll.
Of course in the original context the speech is unintentionally ironic being delivered by an innocent girl upon seeing a ship load of drunken sailors. The phrase Brave New World is also ironic is a similar fashion. For my campaign the phrase is intended to be less ironic because it is about a world in which superpowers are suddenly developing. A world that has such goodly people in it; trying to make the best of it.
